Early in the morning, we will go shopping to the market and the most original and authentic shops of the old town. Meanwhile, you will live the gastronomical local life, trying different foods and wines and discovering our beloved private gastronomic clubs. We will do a little stop as well to play Basque pelota, a traditional sport of the Basque country. Around lunch time, we will take boat trip to the island, where we will finish the experience with a nice picnic in a privileged place. The return ticket is opened, so fell free to come back, I recommend you to stay enjoying the beach, the bar and the magical corners of the island.
We will start the experience in the bar, taking a wine while we will watch the bar full of pintxos, so that we can inspire for the workshop that comes next. After that, in the company of a local chef we will enter to the kitchen and will put the apron to learn how to make 6 pintxos and 1 dessert. As we elaborate each pintxo, we will taste them with local wines, so that you can enjoy a beautiful fest. There will be an special gift for the best pintxo chef !
We will drive (50 minutes) between San Sebastian and the small villages of the deep countryside. We will visit two different farm houses, engaged in the artisan elaboration of cheeses, bread, sausages, eggs, vegetables, fruits, honey, flowers and cider among others. We will know their lifestyle and taste their products. After that, we will enjoy a beautiful lunch of local food and wine in a private gastronomic club, placed in the mountain. The return road trip will be different, so that you can discover new valleys of the Basque Country.
